Luchtkoeler Silverstone Penetrator SST-AP120SKB-ARGB 12 cm 2000 RPM

The SilverStone Air Penetrator SST-AP120SKB-ARGB is a 120 mm air cooler fan combining focused airflow and addressable RGB lighting. Its Air Penetrator grille and Shark Force blade profile direct and concentrate air output for extended effective reach while the black 120x120x25 mm frame fits most PC cases. The fan supports PWM control up to 2000 RPM and uses a fluid dynamic bearing with an actively cooled motor for reduced friction, quiet operation and long-term durability.

Advantages

The integrated Air Penetrator grille channels intake air into a more focused circular flow, increasing effective airflow distance and reducing dead spots. Shark Force fan blades smooth airflow and lower audible noise. ARGB illumination uses standard 4-1 pin connectors and daisy-chain cabling simplifies ARGB synchronization and cable routing. PWM control allows speed adjustment across a 0–2000 RPM range, and the all-copper fluid dynamic bearing with an actively cooled motor improves longevity and efficiency.

Suitable for

• Desktop PC cooling where targeted airflow and extended reach are needed
• Systems requiring ARGB lighting synchronized via standard 4-1 pin connectors
• Compact and mid-tower cases compatible with 120 mm fans

Key specifications

• Type: Air cooler / 120 mm fan
• Model: SilverStone SST-AP120SKB-ARGB
• Fan diameter: 120 mm (120 x 120 x 25 mm)
• Maximum speed: 2000 RPM (PWM control: 0–2000 RPM)
• Bearing: Fluid Dynamic Bearing (all-copper)
• Lighting: ARGB with 4-1 pin connectors and daisy-chain cables
• Color: Black
• Weight: 0.152 kg

How to use

Install the fan in a standard 120 mm mounting position inside the PC case, aligning airflow direction toward the component or exhaust area you want to cool. Connect the PWM power cable to a compatible motherboard fan header to enable automatic speed control, and connect the ARGB 4-1 pin connector to an addressable RGB header or controller. If using multiple fans, use the provided daisy-chain cables to link ARGB signals and reduce cable clutter. Secure the fan with screws and confirm proper rotation and lighting before closing the case.

Recommendations

For optimal results, place the Air Penetrator where concentrated airflow improves component cooling (for example, directing intake toward heat-generating components or as a focused exhaust). Use motherboard PWM control to balance noise and cooling, and synchronize ARGB through a single hub port using the daisy-chain cables to keep cabling tidy.
