Managed Switch Cudy GS2028PS4 L2 Gigabit Ethernet 24 poorten PoE 1U zwart

The Cudy GS2028PS4 L2 Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switch is a 1U rack-mountable network switch with 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports that support Power over Ethernet (PoE) and four 1G uplink/SFP combo ports. Designed for small to medium-sized networks, the switch offers a switching capacity of 56 Gbit/s, a total PoE budget of 300W and IEEE 802.3af/802.3at auto-sensing power delivery up to 32W per 802.3at device. The unit is housed in a black metal chassis with active cooling and venting for stable operation and is suitable for both 19-inch cabinet and desktop installation.

Advantages

The managed L2 feature set enables VLANs, QoS and link aggregation for traffic control and segmentation while the 24 PoE-capable ports provide centralized power delivery for IP cameras, access points and VoIP phones. Auto-sensing PoE allocates power dynamically and supports both 802.3at and 802.3af devices, and the 300W PoE budget supports multiple powered devices simultaneously. The metal enclosure, built-in fan and venting holes improve heat dissipation and reliability. Integrated lightning and electrostatic protection and a high-quality TPS PoE chipset contribute to stable long-term operation.

Suitable for

• IP camera systems and surveillance deployments
• Wireless access point aggregation in enterprise or campus networks
• VoIP telephony systems and office voice/data convergence
• Small and medium business wiring closets and 1U rack installations

How to use

Install the switch in a 19-inch rack using the included mounting brackets or place it on a stable, ventilated desktop surface. Connect network devices to the 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports; PoE-capable devices will receive power automatically according to IEEE 802.3af/at standards. Use the 1G Ethernet/SFP combo uplinks for aggregation to core switches or for fiber links. Access the management interface to configure VLANs, QoS priorities and link aggregation policies, and monitor PoE power distribution and port status. Ensure adequate ventilation around the chassis and connect to a grounded power source.

Recommendations

Prioritize critical PoE devices in the management interface or by configuring port power priority to ensure continuous operation of essential equipment. Distribute powered devices across ports to avoid exceeding the 300W total budget, and reserve uplink ports for connections to the network core. For deployments with many high-power PoE+ devices, verify cumulative power requirements before installation and allow clearance for airflow around the metal casing to maintain optimal thermal performance.
