MediaRange MR422 DVD-R media 4,7 GB 16x 100er-spindel

MediaRange MR422 blank DVD-R discs provide 4.7 GB native storage per disc with a maximum write speed of 16x. Supplied in a 100-piece spindle, these optical media are intended for bulk recording, data backup, video storage and media distribution. The discs are compatible with standard DVD-R burners and players that support DVD-R format, and are suitable for creating archives, copying large numbers of files, or producing reusable physical media for distribution.

Advantages

The 100-pack spindle offers cost-effective bulk media for repetitive recording tasks and archiving. With 16x maximum write speed, these DVD-R discs support relatively fast writes on compatible drives, reducing burn times compared with lower-speed media. Each disc provides 4.7 GB of native capacity, which is adequate for standard-definition video, single-disc software distributions, and routine data backups. The spindle packaging helps protect discs from dust and simplifies storage and handling during mass burning sessions.

Suitable for

• Data backup and incremental archives
• Standard-definition video recording and distribution
• Mass production of installation media and software discs
• Long-term optical storage where DVD-R format is acceptable

Key specifications

• Disc type: DVD-R
• Capacity: 4.7 GB (native)
• Maximum write speed: 16x
• Pack format: 100-disc spindle

How to use

Remove the required number of discs from the spindle, taking care to avoid fingerprints on the recording surface. Insert a DVD-R into a compatible DVD-R burner and select an appropriate burning application. Choose write speed up to 16x according to your burner’s capabilities and the quality of the media; if uncertain, select a lower speed to improve compatibility. Finalize discs when intended for playback in standard DVD players. Store unused discs on the spindle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Recommendations

For best results, check your burner’s supported write speeds and firmware compatibility before mass burning. Use reliable burning software and verify a sample of burned discs to confirm data integrity. Keep discs in their spindle until use and handle by the edges to avoid scratches and contaminants.
