Microconnect MC-SFTP803Y Netwerkkabel geel 3 m Cat8.1 S/FTP (S-STP)

The MicroConnect MC-SFTP803Y Cat8.1 patch cable is a 3 m S/FTP networking cable designed for demanding environments that require very high bandwidth and low latency. It uses RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and 50µ" referenced connectors for stable connectivity, offers meter markings on the boot for quick length identification, and features a latch-protection design to reduce the risk of clip breakage.

Advantages

Cat8.1 specification and S/FTP shielding provide strong protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Supports data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s and bandwidth suitable for up to 2000 MHz, while gold-plated RJ45 contacts ensure reliable signal transmission. Meter marking and latch protection improve usability and durability in installation environments.

Suitable for

• High-speed data centers and server rooms
• 25 Gbps network links and other high-bandwidth connections
• Professional network installations requiring S/FTP shielding
• Structured cabling in commercial and industrial settings

Key specifications

• Model: MicroConnect MC-SFTP803Y
• Standard: Cat8.1
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 m
• Colour: Yellow
• Data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Bandwidth: up to 2000 MHz
• Weight: 0.29 kg

How to use

Connect the RJ45 ends to compatible network ports (switch, router, NIC or patch panel). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; use the meter markings on the boot to confirm cable length during installation. For best performance, avoid sharp bends, excessive tension, and proximity to strong electrical noise sources.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, use this Cat8.1 S/FTP cable for short-reach, high-speed links (such as 25 Gbps connections) in shielded or controlled environments, and pair with shielded network equipment and proper grounding where applicable.
