Microsoft Surface Pro Type Cover met vingerafdruklezer, Frans AZERTY, zwart

For Surface Pro users who demand both security and speed, this Type Cover integrates a Windows Hello fingerprint reader directly into the keyboard—no need to reach for the screen or type a PIN. Unlike standard covers that only protect the display, this one transforms your tablet into a full laptop with a mechanical-style scissor key mechanism and a precision glass trackpad.

Highlights

• Integrated fingerprint reader for instant, secure sign-in with Windows Hello
• French AZERTY layout with backlit keys for comfortable typing in any light
• Multi-touch glass trackpad with smooth, responsive gesture support
• Ultra-slim, lightweight design that folds back for tablet mode
• Magnetic attachment aligns automatically and draws power from your Surface Pro

In daily use

The Type Cover snaps into place with a satisfying click, instantly waking your Surface Pro and readying it for work. The backlit keys are quiet and well-spaced, with a scissor-switch mechanism that provides tactile feedback without excessive travel. The fingerprint reader sits discreetly in the top row, allowing you to unlock your device with a single touch—even in tablet mode when the cover is folded back.

The trackpad supports Windows precision gestures, so scrolling, swiping, and multi-finger shortcuts feel natural. The soft-touch polyurethane exterior resists smudges and spills, while the rigid core keeps the keyboard stable on your lap or desk.
