MINI-PC Minis Forum UM790 Pro Ryzen 9 7940HS barebone

Minisforum UM790 Pro is a mini PC with AMD Ryzen™ 9 7940HS processor. With integrated AMD Radeon™ 780M graphics and advanced features such as Wi-Fi 6E and USB4, this Mini-PC is great for work, entertainment and more demanding tasks while taking up minimal desktop space.

Performance at the highest level

At the heart of the UM790 Pro is the AMD Ryzen™ 9 7940HS processor based on Zen 4 architecture. The octa-core unit, which supports 16 threads, ensures smooth multitasking and fast processing. A base frequency of 4.0 GHz with the ability to increase to 5.2 GHz guarantees performance even in the most demanding applications.

Integrated graphics and multimedia support

The integrated AMD Radeon™ 780M chip is responsible for handling graphics, offering support for advanced games and graphics programs. This makes the Mini-PC great for multimedia support, as well as for everyday design tasks or watching high-quality videos.

Wide connectivity capabilities

The Minisforum UM790 Pro has multiple ports, including USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A (x4), USB4 (x2), HDMI (x2) and RJ45 2.5G Ethernet. This means you'll connect a variety of peripherals to it. Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity and Bluetooth 5.2 ensure fast and stable connection to the Internet, and external devices.

Efficient cooling and quiet operation

The Cold Wave 2.0 cooling system used, using liquid metal and active cooling for RAM and SSD, ensures optimal working conditions, even under heavy load. As a result, the computer remains reliable in all conditions.

Compact and convenient to install

The Minisforum UM790 Pro is not only powerful, but also extremely handy. Thanks to its compatibility with the VESA mount, you can mount it on the back of your monitor to save space on your desk.

How to use

Install compatible DDR memory modules and storage drives according to Minis Forum instructions — typically M.2 NVMe SSD(s) and/or 2.5" SATA SSD/HDD depending on the chassis options. After hardware installation, connect display, keyboard, mouse and network, then install the operating system and relevant drivers. Configure BIOS/UEFI settings for memory frequency, boot order and power management as required, and apply firmware updates to ensure system stability and compatibility with chosen OS and peripherals.

Recommendations

Choose higher-speed DDR memory and NVMe SSDs to improve responsiveness for multitasking and content workflows. Maintain adequate airflow around the mini PC in confined spaces and update firmware and drivers from Minis Forum before deploying the system in production.
