Montageset Silverstone FDP01 staal zwart 92x142x35mm

The Silverstone FDP01 steel mounting kit (92 x 142 x 35 mm) is designed for direct chassis rear fan mounting to provide targeted cooling to motherboard VRM areas. It is compact and sturdy, suitable for installations where a rear 120 mm or 140 mm fan can be used to direct airflow over voltage regulation modules. The kit supports one 80 mm fan or two 60 mm fans for additional localized ventilation.

Advantages

The FDP01 is built from steel for durability and stable support of installed fans and components. Its compact footprint allows installation in tight chassis spaces while enabling direct airflow from rear 120 mm or 140 mm fans to cool motherboard VRMs. The option to fit 1x80 mm or 2x60 mm fans increases flexibility for various cooling layouts.

Suitable for

• Direct rear fan cooling of motherboard VRM
• Small-form-factor or compact PC cases where space is limited
• Setups requiring additional localized fan mounting behind the motherboard tray

How to use

Mount the FDP01 directly to the chassis rear fan location so that the rear 120 mm or 140 mm fan aligns with the kit to provide airflow to the motherboard VRM. Install optional 80 mm or 60 mm fans into the kit if additional targeted cooling is desired. Secure all screws and confirm clearances with the motherboard and other components before powering the system.

Recommendations

Install the FDP01 with the chassis fan set to intake or exhaust according to your case airflow design; ensure fans are oriented to direct air over VRM components for effective cooling. Verify compatibility with your case’s rear fan cutout and check that installed fans do not interfere with connectors or tall components on the motherboard.
