Multifunctionele inkjetprinter Epson EcoTank L8160 — kleurendruk, 5760x1440 DPI, 32 ppm, A4, Wi‑Fi, duplex

The Epson EcoTank L8160 is a multifunction inkjet printer designed for colour printing, scanning and duplex document production in home and small office environments. It delivers up to 5760 x 1440 dpi maximum print resolution and prints at speeds up to 32 pages per minute (black, normal quality, A4). The device supports colour scanning with an optical resolution of 1200 x 4800 dpi, accepts A4 paper, and provides wired Ethernet and Wi‑Fi connectivity alongside direct printing options. Compact and relatively lightweight, the printer integrates refillable ink tanks to reduce running costs for frequent colour printing.

Advantages

The printer combines high maximum print resolution with a moderate engine speed, enabling detailed colour output and efficient handling of everyday documents. Duplex print capability reduces paper consumption for two‑sided documents. Built‑in wired and wireless networking simplify integration into home or small office setups, while the refillable ink system lowers cost per page compared with cartridge‑based models. A compact footprint and 8.4 kg weight make the unit easy to place in constrained workspaces.

Suitable for

• Home offices producing colour reports, invoices and presentations
• Small businesses requiring economical colour printing and occasional duplex jobs
• Users who need high‑resolution colour scans for archiving or digital editing
• Environments where networked printing via Wi‑Fi or Ethernet is needed

Connect the printer to a local network using the built‑in Wi‑Fi setup or an Ethernet cable; install the Epson drivers and software on your computer or mobile device to enable printing and scanning features. Load A4 paper into the input tray, select duplex printing in the print driver when two‑sided output is required, and use the scanner lid for single‑page or multi‑page colour scans at the desired optical resolution.

Recommendations

For reliable long‑term operation, use genuine Epson inks and follow scheduled maintenance prompts in the printer software. Store refill bottles upright and keep the printer in a dust‑free area with adequate ventilation. When producing high‑quality photo or graphic prints, choose the highest resolution settings and appropriate paper type in the driver; for everyday documents, select standard quality to balance speed and ink consumption.
