Netsnoer USA-stekker ACT Powercord C7 zwart 1,8 m

The ACT Powercord C7 with USA type A plug in black, 1.8 m, is a mains power cable intended for devices that use a two-pin figure-8 (C7) inlet and standard North American 120 V supply. The cable delivers a secure connection between the wall outlet and compatible consumer electronics, offering a moderate length of 1.8 metres that balances reach and cable management. Its black jacket and molded connectors are designed for everyday use in home and office environments.

Advantages

This ACT power cord provides a reliable two-contact C7 connection to equipment requiring a 120 V input via a Type A plug. The 1.8 m length reduces the need for extension cords while allowing flexible placement of devices. Durable insulation and molded strain-relief at both ends help protect the conductors from wear and bending stress during regular installation and removal.

Suitable for

• Portable audio devices and small stereos with C7 inlet
• Compact DVD/Blu-ray players and media players
• Some laptop power adapters and chargers that use a C7 connector
• Small household electronics and chargers rated for 120 V

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.8 m
• Connector 1: Type A (USA) mains plug
• Connector 2: C7 (figure-8) coupler
• Intended voltage: compatible with 120 V mains systems
• Colour: Black
• Construction: molded connectors with strain relief, insulated PVC jacket

How to use

Check that the target device accepts a C7 (figure-8) coupler and that the local mains supply matches the device's rated input voltage. Insert the C7 coupler securely into the device inlet, then plug the Type A mains plug into a grounded or ungrounded 120 V wall outlet as appropriate. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and pinching; use cable clips or ties to keep it neat and to reduce strain on the connectors. Disconnect by gripping the molded plug rather than pulling the cable.

Recommendations

Use this cable only with compatible equipment and mains voltages. Avoid exposure to excessive heat, liquids, or mechanical damage. Replace the cable if the insulation or connectors become damaged. For permanent installations or devices that require grounding, ensure the appliance and power source meet local safety standards.
