Netwerk-patchkabel LANBERG PCF8-10CU-0025-S Cat8.1 S/FTP (S-STP) RJ-45 – 0,25 m, grijs

LANBERG PCF8-10CU-0025-S is a 0.25 m Cat8.1 network patch cable with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The grey cable supports data transfer rates up to 40,000 Mbit/s and is intended for short interconnections in high-speed network environments, including server racks and patch panels where effective shielding and low interference are required.

Advantages

The cable uses S/FTP shielding (braid plus foil on each pair) to provide enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference. With 26AWG conductor construction (7 x 0.16 mm) and an outer diameter of 6.0 mm ±0.2 mm, the cable combines compact dimensions with the performance required for Cat8.1. RJ-45 terminations on both ends ensure compatibility with standard network ports.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port on your device or patch panel and the other RJ-45 plug to the corresponding port on the switch, server or neighbouring device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Use this 0.25 m cable for short, direct connections inside racks or between adjacent devices to preserve signal quality and minimize cable slack.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive twisting; maintain bend radius consistent with cable diameter and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. Use Cat8.1 cables for short runs only, as specified by the standard.
