Netwerk-patchkabel UBIQUITI UACC-CABLE-PATCH-OUTDOOR-8M-W RJ-45 Cat5e 8 m wit

Rugged, outdoor patch cable designed to function in the harshest environments. The UniFi Patch Cable Outdoor is an all-weather patch cable built for outdoor UniFi deployments that need extra protection from moisture, dust, and electrostatic discharge. It combines a weatherproof insulating jacket with internal foil shielding, a built-in ESD drain wire and a shielded RJ45 plug. Multiple length options (1, 2, 3, 5, and 8 meters) allow flexible placement and reliable connections between devices.

Advantages

The cable provides enhanced environmental protection compared to standard indoor patch cords, minimizing the risk of signal interference and damage from water, dust or static. Its shielded RJ45 connector and internal foil shield improve EMI/RFI performance, while the weatherproof jacket extends service life in outdoor installations. Available lengths cover common deployment scenarios without adding unnecessary slack.

Key specifications

• Product type: Outdoor shielded patch cable
• Connectors: Shielded RJ45 plug
• Shielding: Internal foil shielding and ESD drain wire
• Jacket: Weatherproof, insulating outer jacket
• Available lengths: 1 m, 2 m, 3 m, 5 m, 8 m
• Intended use: Outdoor UniFi deployments

How to use

Route the UniFi Patch Cable Outdoor between outdoor network devices or between indoor equipment and outdoor units, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Connect the shielded RJ45 plugs to the corresponding shielded ports, ensuring firm seating for reliable contact. If exposed to direct sunlight or extreme conditions, secure and protect the cable as part of the installation to maintain weatherproofing and grounding effectiveness of the ESD drain wire.

Recommendations

Choose the cable length that provides a neat installation with minimal slack. For long outdoor runs, inspect terminations and protective routing periodically to ensure continued protection against moisture and mechanical wear.
