Netwerk-repeater TP-Link AC2600 Wi-Fi Range Extender

The TP-Link AC2600 Wi-Fi Range Extender improves wireless coverage and performance for homes and small offices by extending an existing Wi‑Fi network. Supporting dual‑band 4‑stream AC2600 speeds (up to 800 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 1733 Mbps on 5 GHz), the extender uses four fixed external antennas, MU‑MIMO and beamforming to deliver targeted signals and greater capacity. A Gigabit Ethernet port allows a fast wired connection for devices that require low latency, while AP mode enables creating a new wireless access point from a wired network. Power consumption is efficient and the unit operates from 100–240 V AC.

Advantages

The device extends Wi‑Fi coverage across large areas using a quad‑antenna design combined with beamforming to focus signal strength where it is needed. 4‑stream dual‑band architecture and MU‑MIMO technology increase throughput and allow simultaneous high‑speed connections for multiple devices. A Gigabit Ethernet port provides reliable wired connectivity for smart TVs, gaming consoles or PCs. The Intelligent Signal Light helps locate the optimal installation point and TP‑Link Tether app enables easy setup and management from iOS or Android devices.

Suitable for

• Extending home Wi‑Fi coverage to rooms or floors with weak signal
• Providing stable wireless bandwidth for 4K streaming and online gaming
• Connecting a single wired device using the Gigabit Ethernet port
• Creating a wireless access point from a wired network using AP mode

How to use

Plug the extender into a power outlet in an area between your router and the location with weak Wi‑Fi signal. Use the Intelligent Signal Light to identify the placement with the best reception from your router. Follow the on‑screen setup using the TP‑Link Tether app or the web management interface to connect the extender to your existing wireless network or switch to AP mode by connecting an Ethernet cable to the Gigabit port. After setup, connect client devices to the extender’s SSID(s) to benefit from improved coverage and speed.

Recommendations

Place the extender where it receives a strong signal from the main router but is still close enough to the coverage gap; avoid placing it inside cabinets or behind large metal objects. For best performance, connect bandwidth‑sensitive devices (gaming consoles, smart TVs) to the Gigabit Ethernet port and keep firmware up to date via the TP‑Link management interface or app.
