Netwerkkabel CABLETIME Cat7 S/STP 15 m, zwart

CABLETIME Cat7 S/STP 15 m, black is a shielded network cable designed for wired Ethernet connections up to Cat7 standards. The 15-metre length provides extended reach for linking devices across rooms or within structured cabling runs. The S/STP shielding construction reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, supporting stable high-speed data transmission for home, office, or server environments.

Advantages

The S/STP (Shielded/Shielded Twisted Pair) design offers improved protection against external interference compared to unshielded alternatives, which helps maintain signal integrity over the full 15 m length. The Cat7 specification supports high bandwidths appropriate for modern Ethernet applications, while the black jacket provides a discreet appearance for installations in visible areas. The cable is compatible with standard RJ45 connectors and typical network equipment that support Cat7 or lower categories.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between PCs, switches, routers and networked devices
• Home and office local area networking where a 15 m run is required
• Server room patching and point-to-point links within racks or cabinets
• High-bandwidth devices such as NAS, media servers and streaming equipment

How to use

Connect one end of the CABLETIME Cat7 S/STP cable to the RJ45 port of your network device (PC, switch, router or server) and the other end to the corresponding RJ45 port on the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully seated and routed to avoid sharp bends or crushing. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and in close proximity to high-voltage power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for structured cabling and direct device-to-device connections over 15 metres. For installations requiring longer runs or permanent in-wall placement, verify local building codes and consider using appropriate conduit or plenum-rated variants if needed.
