Netwerkkabel CABLETIME kabel Cat8 S/STP 2 m zwart

CABLETIME Cable Cat8 S/STP 2 m black (MPN: CA915675, EAN: 6975285505677) is a high-performance network cable designed for short high-bandwidth wired connections. The Cat8 specification and S/STP shielding provide improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, making this 2-meter black cable suitable for server links, data center patching, gaming rigs and demanding home-network runs where low latency and stable throughput are required.

Advantages

The CABLETIME Cat8 S/STP cable combines Category 8 performance with S/STP (overall foil plus individually shielded pairs) construction to reduce signal degradation in electrically noisy environments. The 2 m length minimizes excess cable slack for tidy installations while maintaining gigabit and multi-gigabit compatibility. Durable outer jacket and precise termination ensure consistent contact and extended service life under typical installation conditions.

Suitable for

• Short links between switches, patch panels and servers in data centers or server rooms
• High-bandwidth workstation or gaming-PC connections to routers or switches
• Home network backbone segments where interference resistance is needed
• Audio/video streaming setups that require low-latency wired connectivity

Key specifications

• Brand: CABLETIME
• Model / MPN: CA915675
• EAN: 6975285505677
• Category: Cat8
• Shielding: S/STP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 2 m
• Color: Black
• Connector type: Standard RJ45 (compatible with Cat8 interfaces)

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end of the CABLETIME Cat8 cable to the network port of your switch, router, patch panel or network interface card, and plug the other end into the corresponding port on the target device. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks, keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and maintain the 2 m routing to reduce unnecessary cable length. Inspect connectors before installation to ensure secure seating and verify link status through device LEDs or software diagnostics.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8 S/STP cable for short, high-speed links where shielding and low latency are required. For optimal results in mixed-cable installations, ensure connected equipment supports multi-gigabit speeds and maintain proper grounding for shielded cables to realize the full interference protection.
