Netwerkkabel Captiva 80269 Patchkabel CAT 6a RJ45 0,5m wit

The Captiva 80269 Patch Cable CAT 6a RJ45 0.5m in white is a short Ethernet cable intended for high-speed network connections between devices located close together. Constructed to the CAT 6a standard, the cable supports enhanced performance and reduced crosstalk compared with lower category cables. It uses standard RJ45 connectors to provide a reliable physical interface for switches, routers, patch panels, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled devices.

Advantages

This CAT 6a patch cable delivers higher bandwidth capability and improved shielding characteristics compared to CAT 5e and CAT 6, helping to maintain stable Gigabit and multi-gigabit links over short runs. The 0.5 m length reduces excess cable bulk in patching cabinets and desktop setups. The molded RJ45 plugs ensure consistent contact and easier insertion, while the white jacket offers a discreet appearance for visible installations and easy color-coding in mixed-cable environments.

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the Ethernet port of the source device and the other connector into the target device or network equipment. Ensure both connectors click into place to confirm a secure physical connection. For rack or patch panel installations, route the 0.5 m cable to avoid sharp bends and stress on the connector. After connection, verify link status and speed on connected devices to confirm proper negotiation and performance.

Recommendations

Use this short CAT 6a cable for tidy patching in switch cabinets or between closely positioned devices where a minimal cable length reduces clutter. Avoid tight bends near the connector and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to maintain signal integrity.
