Netwerkkabel Captiva 80272 Patchkabel CAT 6a RJ45 5 m wit

The Captiva 80272 Patch Cable CAT 6a RJ45 5m White is a shielded network cable designed for high-speed Ethernet and LAN connections. With a 5-metre length and RJ45 terminations, it supports frequencies and data rates typical for CAT 6a standard deployments, suitable for wired networks in home and office environments. The white outer jacket provides a neutral appearance for visible installations while the construction focuses on reliable signal transmission and connector fit.

Advantages

The cable offers enhanced bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with lower-category cables, enabling more stable Gigabit and multi-gigabit links over short to medium distances. The RJ45 connectors are compatible with standard Ethernet ports and are designed to maintain secure contact. The 5 m length provides flexibility for common desktop and rack-to-desk connections without excess cable slack. The white jacket is easy to route and integrates with lighter interiors.

How to use

Plug each RJ45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on network devices such as computers, routers or switches until the connector latch clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference, and secure excess length with cable ties or organizers to prevent strain on connectors. For best performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for copper Ethernet cabling and avoid running alongside high-voltage power lines.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments where CAT 6a performance is required for stable Gigabit or multi-gigabit links. Inspect connectors before use and replace the cable if outer jacket damage or connector deformation is visible. For permanent installations, verify channel testing to ensure the installed link meets desired performance parameters.
