Netwerkkabel DeLOCK 85869 grijs 2m Cat6 S/FTP

The DeLOCK 85869 is a 2 m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed to connect network devices such as a NIC, switch or patch panel. The grey cable provides a neutral appearance and the angled plug allows space-saving installation in confined areas behind appliances or in network cabinets.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for more stable signal transmission. Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidth and gigabit data rates compared with earlier cable categories. The angled RJ-45 plug helps when routing cables in tight spaces and behind equipment. A 2 m length balances reach and tidy cable management in home or office installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer NIC to a switch or router
• Patch panel to switch links in cabinets
• Home or office gigabit network connections

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Standard: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually screened pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Grey
• Brand: DELOCK, MPN: 85869, EAN: 4043619858699

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports of your devices (for example NIC to switch or patch panel). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Use the angled plug to route the cable where space behind equipment is limited, avoiding tight bends near the connector to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for gigabit Ethernet environments and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines to minimise interference. Do not exceed the typical Ethernet maximum segment length (100 m) when planning cable runs.
