Netwerkkabel Dexlan 858376 1m Cat6a S/FTP zwart

The Dexlan 858376 1m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in local networks and point-to-point links. The cable follows Cat6a specifications and uses S/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Both ends are terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors, allowing direct connection to routers, switches, network interface cards and wall outlets for stable data transmission up to 10 Gbps at supported distances.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually braided shields around each twisted pair to enhance signal integrity in environments with high interference. The Cat6a category supports higher bandwidth and improved alien crosstalk performance compared with lower categories. A 1 meter length offers flexibility for short links behind desks, between patch panels and equipment racks while minimizing surplus cable. The cable's black jacket provides a neutral, professional appearance and easier routing in cable channels.

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port until it clicks. Use the 1 m cable to connect devices located close to each other, such as a workstation to a wall outlet or a switch to a patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated and that strain is minimized by avoiding tight bends near the connector heads. For rack installations, route the cable through cable management channels to prevent interference and mechanical stress.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and keep bend radii above the minimum recommended for Cat6a cables. Use rj-45 ports rated for Cat6a or higher and verify link speed and duplex settings on connected equipment. For permanent structured cabling installations, check compliance with local cabling standards and test each link with certified network testers.
