Netwerkkabel Dexlan 858652 3 m Cat7 S/FTP zwart

The Dexlan 3 m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors is a shielded twisted-pair patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in wired Ethernet networks. Constructed to the Cat7 standard, it supports higher frequencies and reduced crosstalk compared with earlier categories. The cable's black outer jacket offers a neutral, low-visibility appearance suitable for routing along walls, under desks, or within structured cabling installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding (overall braid plus individually foiled pairs) provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and near-end crosstalk, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple nearby cables or electronic devices. The Cat7 construction allows reliable performance at elevated frequencies, enabling stable Gigabit and multi-Gigabit Ethernet connections. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and corrosion resistance, while the 3 m length balances flexibility and reach for typical home and office layouts.

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector securely into the Ethernet port of the devices you intend to connect, such as a router, switch, or computer. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a stable mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and areas with strong electromagnetic sources; maintain gentle curves and avoid pinching points. For structured installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties without compressing the jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat7 S/FTP cable with compatible network equipment that supports Gigabit or higher speeds. When routing near power lines or heavy machinery, maintain separation and use the cable's shielding to reduce interference. Periodically inspect connector contacts and the jacket for damage; replace the cable if insulation or connector integrity is compromised.
