Netwerkkabel Equip Cat.6 S/FTP patchkabel RJ-45 25m grijs

The Equip Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cable (25 m, grey) is a high-quality network cable designed for reliable wired data transmission in home and office environments. The cable uses S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors to provide improved protection against electromagnetic interference and ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet equipment.

Advantages

The Cat.6 construction offers higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables, enabling stable, low-error performance for demanding network applications. S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference, while molded RJ-45 connectors provide a secure plug-in connection. The 25 m length offers extended reach for flexible installation.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections for desktop PCs and workstations
• Switch-to-switch or switch-to-router links within offices or server rooms
• Connecting networked devices such as NAS, printers, and IP cameras
• Home networking where longer cable runs are needed

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into a switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For permanent installations, secure the cable with clips or cable ties, leaving enough slack to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable for Gigabit Ethernet or applications requiring reduced interference. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and maintain bend radius recommendations to preserve signal integrity.
