Netwerkkabel Digitus CAT 5e SF/UTP patchkabel RJ-45 Cat5e 2m zwart

The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 5e SF/UTP Patch Cord RJ-45 Cat5e 2m Black is a 2-meter Category 5e patch cable designed for reliable data transmission up to 100 MHz. It uses copper conductors and SF/UTP shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference, and features transparent blue RJ-45 plugs with metal shielding for simple category identification. Molded boots provide kink protection, strain relief and latch protection to reduce the risk of connector damage during installation and use.

Advantages

Manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 5e standards, this DIGITUS patch cord guarantees channel-level compliance and consistent performance including near-end crosstalk (NEXT) characteristics up to 100 MHz. The copper conductor ensures good conductivity while the SF/UTP shielding reduces external interference. Molded boots with strain relief and latch protection increase durability and ease of handling.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in home and small office networks
• Ethernet connections requiring Cat5e performance (up to 100 MHz)
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is needed thanks to SF/UTP shielding

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or network sockets. Ensure connectors click into place using the protected latch. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid excessive pulling; use cable management where available to maintain the cable bend radius and prolong service life.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat5e SF/UTP patch cord for connections within the same network segment and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines. Verify that connected equipment supports Cat5e specifications and ensure proper cable management to prevent mechanical stress on the connectors.
