Netwerkkabel Digitus CAT 6 U/FTP slanke patchkabel RJ-45 Cat6 1 m grijs

The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 6 U/FTP Slim patch cord (1 m, grey) enables flexible and space-saving cabling in networks. Its small outer diameter and slim, flexible sheath make it suitable for routing in tight spaces while maintaining Category 6 performance up to 250 MHz. The cable has inner copper conductors, U/FTP shielding for improved protection against interference, and transparent red coloured RJ-45 connectors for easy identification of Category 6.

Advantages

The slim design with a 4.8 mm outer diameter provides flexible use and space savings in patch panels and cable channels. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) outer sheath improves fire behavior and reduces smoke emission. Connector boots are moulded with kink protection, strain relief and a latch protector to prevent breaking of the latching lever. The cable is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications and delivers tested performance including NEXT up to 250 MHz.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches, routers and patch panels in offices and data cabinets
• Installations where space is limited or cable bundles require flexible routing
• Environments requiring reduced smoke and halogen-free materials (LSZH)

How to use

Connect RJ-45 plugs to the corresponding ports on networking devices such as switches, routers or patch panels. Route the slim patch cord through cable channels or along cable trays, using the flexible sheath to reduce bend radius where necessary. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; the moulded boot with strain relief reduces stress at the connection point. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force during installation.

Recommendations

For best results, use this DIGITUS CAT 6 U/FTP slim patch cord in short horizontal and vertical connections within racks and cabinets, keep bend radius above the minimum recommended by the manufacturer, and avoid running parallel to high-power electrical lines to minimise interference.
