Netwerkkabel Digitus CAT 6 U/UTP patchkabel RJ-45 Cat6 10 m grijs

The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 6 U/UTP patch cord (10 m) is a Category 6 patch lead designed for reliable data transmission in structured cabling systems. It is manufactured to meet ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 standards, tested up to 250 MHz and suitable for installations requiring Cat6 performance. The cable features copper conductors, RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a grey sheath; the connector is transparent red for easy identification of Category 6 cables. The sheath material is LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) to ensure reduced smoke and improved fire behaviour.

Advantages

The DIGITUS CAT 6 patch cord provides proven Class E performance with testing up to 250 MHz including NEXT parameters, PoE+ readiness and durable molded boots with kink protection, strain relief and latch protection to reduce the risk of connector damage. Its LSZH outer sheath lowers smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire, and the copper conductors ensure stable signal transmission.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in offices and data centers
• Connections between switches, patch panels and network devices
• High-speed Ethernet applications up to Cat6 (250 MHz)
• PoE and PoE+ powered devices

How to use

Route the 10 m DIGITUS Cat 6 patch cord between network devices or between a patch panel and switch. Ensure connectors are fully inserted into RJ-45 sockets until the latch clicks. Use the molded boot to avoid sharp bends near the connector and maintain proper bend radius to preserve signal performance. For permanent installations, keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and strong electrical interference sources.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, test the installed channel according to ISO/EN channel specifications after cabling. Avoid excessive bending or crushing of the cable and use appropriate cable management to maintain performance and connector integrity.
