Netwerkkabel Digitus CAT 6A F/FTP RJ-45 2m grijs

DIGITUS Slim patch cable delivers future-oriented standards and high-end quality for network installations. The slim and flexible design with a small outer diameter allows easy routing in confined spaces and dense cabling environments. The cable supports 10 Gbit/s transmission at up to 500 MHz and is suitable for data centers, high-density solutions and home offices. It is PoE+ ready and manufactured to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 CAT 6 standards.

Advantages

The slim construction provides greater flexibility and simpler installation in tight cable channels while maintaining the performance required for CAT 6A applications. A molded anti-kink sleeve with strain relief and locking lever protection prevents plug damage and reduces the risk of cable kinking or connector breakage.

Key specifications

• Standard: ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173 CAT 6
• Transmission speed: 10 Gbit/s
• Frequency: 500 MHz
• PoE: PoE+ ready
• Design: slim outer diameter, flexible jacket
• Connector protection: molded anti-kink sleeve with strain relief and locking lever protection

How to use

Route the DIGITUS Slim patch cable through cable ducts or patch panels as required for your network layout. Insert the RJ45 plugs into compatible ports until the locking lever engages; the molded sleeve reduces strain on the connector. Avoid sharp bends near the connector and maintain the recommended bend radius for flexible cables to preserve transmission performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in high-density or data center environments, use appropriate cable management and avoid excessive compression or tight bundling. Test the installed links according to ISO/EN channel specifications to verify 10 Gbit/s performance and NEXT characteristics.
