Netwerkkabel Digitus CAT 6A U/UTP RJ-45 Cat6a 5m grijs

Future-oriented standards and high-end quality for your network. The DIGITUS® Category 6A Class EA patch cord is designed for reliable high-speed data transmission and complies with ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6A specifications. The cable is PoE+ ready and uses copper conductors for stable signal performance. A transparent yellow connector allows easy identification of Category 6A (500 MHz).

Advantages

The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath ensures improved fire behavior and reduced smoke emissions. The cable is tested up to 500 MHz including parameters such as near-end crosstalk (NEXT). Molded boots provide kink protection, strain relief and an integrated latch protector to prevent breaking of the latching lever. The transparent yellow plug simplifies visual identification of Category 6A patch cords.

Key specifications

• Standard compliance: ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173 Category 6A (Class EA)
• Frequency range: up to 500 MHz
• Conductor material: Copper (Cu)
• Sheath: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Connector color: transparent yellow (Category 6A identification)
• PoE support: PoE+
• Performance tested including NEXT (near-end crosstalk)
• Molded boot with kink protection, strain relief and latch protector

How to use

Connect the patch cord between compatible Category 6A RJ45 ports on networking equipment such as switches, patch panels and wall outlets. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages; the molded boot and latch protector reduce the risk of damage during installation and removal. Use appropriate cable management to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress that could affect performance.

Recommendations

For optimal system performance, use DIGITUS® Category 6A patch cords within a channel that meets ISO/EN Category 6A specifications, and verify installation with appropriate certification tools. Choose LSZH-sheathed cables in environments where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required.
