Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik S/FTP RJ-45 Cat.6A 30m oranje

The EFB Elektronik S/FTP RJ-45 Cat.6A 30m Orange networking cable is designed for high-speed wired Ethernet connections in home and office environments. This 30 metre Cat6A cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference and is terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors for plug-and-play compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and network devices. The bright orange jacket improves cable identification in structured cabling installations and makes tracing runs simpler during deployment and maintenance.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to provide improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables. The Cat6A specification supports higher transmission frequencies and better alien crosstalk performance, enabling reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet links over the full 30 m length when installed correctly. RJ-45 terminations ensure broad device compatibility while the flexible outer jacket allows neat routing in racks, under floors or along cable trays.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in small office and home networks
• Patch cabling between wall outlets, switches and patch panels
• Temporary runs for events, testing or network reconfiguration
• Environments where cable identification and color coding are required

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Category 6A (Cat6A)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 30 m
• Jacket colour: Orange
• Suitable for structured cabling and patching

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the Cat6A cable to the network device or wall outlet and the other end to the corresponding switch, router or patch panel port. Ensure connectors are fully seated and that cable bends comply with recommended minimum bend radius to avoid signal degradation. When routing in racks or conduits, support the cable at regular intervals and avoid running parallel to high-power electrical lines to minimize interference.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable for short to medium permanent links and for patching within the same cable category. Maintain proper separation from mains power and sharp edges, and verify link performance after installation using appropriate testing tools to confirm Cat6A compliance and 10 Gigabit readiness.
