Netwerkkabel Equip Cat.6 S/FTP patchkabel RJ-45 25m rood

The equip® Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cord is a 25 m network cable designed for demanding LAN and data transfer environments. Constructed from quality materials and factory-tested to meet industry standards, this red Cat.6 cable uses S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends to provide stable, high-bandwidth connections with improved signal-to-noise margin and reduced electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference, helping to maintain signal integrity over longer distances. Cat.6 specification supports higher bandwidths and lower error rates compared with lower-category cables. Twin RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with standard network devices and switches. The 25 m length offers flexibility for office, rack, or structured cabling installations while the red jacket simplifies cable identification.

Suitable for

• Ethernet networks up to Cat6 performance
• Office and data center patching
• Connecting switches, routers, servers, and workstations
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Length: 25 m
• Category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually screened pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Colour: Red
• Brand / MPN / EAN: EQUIP / 615523 / 4015867234556

How to use

Route the cable between network devices, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise. Insert RJ-45 plugs firmly into the device ports until they click. Verify link status on connected devices and test throughput if required. For permanent installations, use appropriate cable management to prevent strain on connectors and to maintain the shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For best performance maintain bend radius recommended for Cat6 cables, avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines, and secure the cable to prevent mechanical stress. Use cable testers to confirm continuity and correct wiring after installation.
