Netwerkkabel Equip Cat.6A U/FTP platte patchkabel RJ-45 1,0 m zwart

The equip® Cat.6A U/FTP Flat Patch Cable is a 1.0 m network cable designed for 10GBase-T applications and data transfer speeds up to 10000 Mbit/s. It features U/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and RJ-45 connectors with gold plating to ensure reliable contact. The flat form factor saves space and simplifies routing in tight installations, suitable for home or office networks.

Advantages

The flat design enables installation in narrow gaps and under carpets without adding bulk. U/FTP shielding improves signal integrity in environments with potential interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide corrosion resistance and stable connection quality. The 1.0 m length is convenient for short patching between devices and wall outlets.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels within racks or cabinets
• Short-distance links between wall outlets and network devices in offices
• Home networking where space-saving cable routing is required
• 10GBase-T applications requiring Cat6A cabling

Key specifications

• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T (Cat6A)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Colour: Black
• Weight: 0.0315 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router or NIC) and the other plug to a patch panel or wall socket. Route the flat cable along edges, under skirting or carpet where needed, avoiding sharp bends that could stress the conductors. Ensure both ends are fully inserted until the connector latch clicks to secure the connection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6A U/FTP cable for short runs up to 1 m in environments where higher shielding is beneficial; avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep it away from strong electrical noise sources when possible.
