Netwerkkabel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 0,5 m

The Networking Cable Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 0.5 m is a short patch cable designed for reliable high-speed Ethernet connections. This Cat 6a S/FTP cable features RJ-45 connectors on both ends and factory-terminated shielding to reduce crosstalk and external interference. At 0.5 m length and finished in magenta, it provides a compact, visible link between devices in rack, desktop or office setups where space and cable identification matter.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall shield with individually shielded pairs to improve signal integrity in environments with electrical noise. Cat 6a specification supports higher bandwidth and improved performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances. The short 0.5 m length minimizes excess cabling and helps maintain tidy installations. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common network equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and network ports in racks and cabinets
• Short patch connections between desktop devices and wall sockets
• Environments requiring color-coded cable management

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Magenta

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network jack until it clicks to secure the connection. Use this 0.5 m Helos Cat 6a S/FTP cable for short-distance links where minimal slack is desired; avoid sharp bends near the connector strain relief and keep the cable clear of high-power electrical sources where possible. For rack installations, route the cable through appropriate management channels to prevent pinching and maintain shield continuity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable within its intended short-run applications and maintain proper connector seating. When deploying multiple cables, apply color-coding practices to simplify identification and troubleshooting. Do not exceed recommended bend radius and avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures or physical damage.
