PC-behuizing Silverstone Sugo SG12 Desktop zwart

The Silverstone Sugo SG12 Desktop Black is a compact PC case engineered for small-form-factor desktop builds that require efficient cooling and flexible storage options. With support for multiple fan sizes and a combination of 2.5" and 3.5" drive bays, the case is intended to balance thermal performance and component compatibility while preserving a slim footprint (266mm W x 407mm D x 210mm H) in a black aluminium and steel chassis.

Advantages

The SG12 offers targeted airflow support with provisions for 120mm side fans and 80mm rear and top fans, enabling targeted cooling for CPU and GPU components in compact builds. Its mixed-drive compatibility accommodates both 2.5" and 3.5" storage drives, giving flexibility for SSD and HDD configurations. Constructed from aluminium and steel, the chassis provides a durable yet lightweight solution for desktop deployments, while the compact dimensions make it suitable for desks or confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Small-form-factor desktop PCs using Mini-ITX, Mini-DTX, or Micro-ATX motherboards
• Home or office systems where space efficiency is important
• Storage-focused builds combining SSDs and HDDs
• Compact gaming or multimedia rigs requiring targeted airflow

How to use

Install a compatible Mini-ITX, Mini-DTX, or Micro-ATX motherboard inside the chassis and secure storage drives in the appropriate 2.5" or 3.5" bays according to drive mounting provisions. Fit the power supply separately, as one is not included, and connect front-panel USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports to the motherboard headers. Mount 120mm and 80mm fans in the supported positions to establish intended airflow paths, then route cables to maintain unobstructed ventilation and to optimize internal cooling.

Recommendations

For balanced thermal performance in compact builds, use a combination of a 120mm side intake fan and an 80mm exhaust fan at the rear or top. Prioritize SSDs in the 2.5" bays for operating system drives and use the 3.5" bays for bulk HDD storage. Choose a power supply that fits the case dimensions and allows sufficient connectors for multiple drives; ensure cable management to preserve airflow.
