Netwerkkabel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1,5 m oranje

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1.5 m Orange networking cable provides a shielded twisted-pair connection for high-speed Ethernet links. Designed with S/FTP (overall foil with individually braided shields) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 1.5 metre cable is intended for reliable data transmission in structured cabling and point-to-point connections. The orange jacket improves visibility, helping with cable identification and routing in racks, patch panels and office installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting consistent signal integrity for demanding applications. Cat 6a performance enables higher bandwidth and lower error rates compared with lower-category cables, while the 1.5 m length offers a compact, flexible connection between devices. The RJ-45 terminations are compatible with standard Ethernet ports, making the cable suitable for immediate use without additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and network interfaces over short distances
• Patch panel to endpoint connections in server rooms and data cabinets
• Workstation or desktop Ethernet connections
• Temporary or permanent cabling where color-coded identification is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually braided shields)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Orange

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices, such as network switches, routers or computers. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends or compression and keep it separated from high-voltage power lines where possible to maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat 6a S/FTP cable for links within the specified length and avoid excessive bending or tension. Verify connectors and port compatibility before installation and maintain cable routing that minimizes exposure to sources of strong electromagnetic interference.
