Netwerkkabel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 0,25 m groen

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 0.25m Green is a short patch cable designed for reliable high-speed Ethernet connections. Complying with Cat6 cabling standards and using S/FTP (shielded foil with overall braid and PIMF — pair in metal foil) construction, the cable reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference for stable gigabit performance. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors at both ends and finished in green, it is suitable for compact patching between devices in racks, patch panels, switches and workstations.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) shielding provides superior protection against external EMI and internal pair-to-pair crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, improving signal integrity in crowded cable environments. The Cat6 specification supports gigabit Ethernet and reliable 10/100/1000Base-T(X) connectivity. Its 0.25 m length minimizes excess cable in dense installations and helps maintain tidy, organized patching. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure wide compatibility with networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Patching between switch ports and patch panels in data racks
• Short cable runs between network devices where space is limited
• Connecting desktop or server NICs to nearby network equipment
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cabling standard: Category 6 (Cat6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with foil pair shielding / PIMF construction)
• Supported speeds: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Green

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network ports until the latch clicks. Use this 0.25 m cable for short point-to-point connections in patch panels, switches, network interface cards or small-form-factor network devices. Ensure connectors are fully seated and strain on the cable is minimized; avoid sharp bends near the connector to maintain signal performance. If used inside shielded cabinets or racks, connect shielded ports or grounding as required by the installation to benefit from the cable's shielding.

Recommendations

For optimum performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for intra-rack or short patching where reduced interference and tidy cabling are priorities. Avoid running the cable alongside high-power electrical lines and maintain bend radius recommendations; inspect terminations periodically in high-traffic environments.
