Netwerkkabel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 1m groen

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 1m Green networking cable is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable gigabit data transmission in home and office networks. With RJ-45 connectors on both ends and Category 6 performance, this 1-meter cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) applications and features S/FTP (overall foil plus individually shielded pairs) construction to reduce crosstalk and external interference. The green jacket provides visible color coding for easier cable management and identification in patch panels, switches, and workstations.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) shielding improves signal integrity and reduces electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables, making it suitable where noise immunity is required. Category 6 design supports gigabit Ethernet speeds and meets typical performance expectations for short patch connections. The 1 m length minimizes excess cabling and clutter, while durable RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and straightforward plug-and-play installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops, desktops, or networked devices to switches or routers at short distances
• Patching between wall outlets and patch panels in small office or home setups
• Environments where cable color-coding simplifies network organization
• Situations requiring improved interference protection compared to UTP cables

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs / PIMF)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Supported cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Jacket colour: Green

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into a switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid tightly bending the cable near the connector ends and keep the length free from sharp kinks. Use color-coded cables to maintain clear identification of network runs and reduce troubleshooting time.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short patch connections within racks, desks, or between nearby network equipment. If routing near power lines or strong sources of electromagnetic noise, maintain separation or use additional grounding practices to preserve shielding effectiveness. Replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show visible damage.
