Netwerkkabel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 1m magenta

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 1m Magenta networking cable is a one-meter patch cable designed to meet Category 6 performance requirements. It uses S/FTP (shielded foil with individually shielded pairs) construction and is terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends to provide consistent Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. The magenta outer jacket makes the cable easy to identify in mixed cable runs while maintaining the electrical characteristics required for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP (PIMF) design reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity in congested or electrically noisy environments. Cat6 specification support provides headroom for high-speed LAN traffic and reliable Gigabit connections. A one-meter length offers a compact solution for patch panels, wall sockets, and device-to-switch connections where excess cable length is undesirable. The durable jacket and molded RJ-45 plugs deliver consistent mechanical and electrical contact.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers within local area networks (10/100/1000Base-T(X))
• Patching between network equipment in data cabinets and patch panels
• Short-distance device connections in offices, studios and server rooms

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid/foil with individually screened pairs)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Supported data standards: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Outer colour: Magenta

How to use

Inspect both RJ-45 connectors for damage before use and ensure that the network ports on devices support Cat6 cabling. Plug one RJ-45 connector into the device port (for example a computer or switch) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the patch panel, wall outlet or network device. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; secure with cable management accessories as needed.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid kinking the cable and maintain bend radii greater than the cable diameter. Use the 1 m length for short patching runs; for longer runs select appropriately rated Cat6 or higher cables. When installing in areas with heavy electrical interference, verify shielding continuity at termination points to preserve S/FTP effectiveness.
