Netwerkkabel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 20m groen

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 20m Green networking cable provides a 20 meter connection for gigabit Ethernet environments. Constructed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networking, the cable uses S/FTP (shielded foil over individually paired, overall braided) topology to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors for straightforward installation in switches, routers, patch panels and wall outlets. The green jacket allows easy visual identification within structured cabling runs.

Advantages

The cable's S/FTP shielding improves signal integrity in environments with nearby power lines, densely packed cables or electronic equipment. As a CAT6 cable rated for 10/100/1000Base-T(X), it supports high-speed data transmission suitable for most modern network applications. The 20 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or between network racks without additional couplers. The factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors provide a plug-and-play experience and reduce installation time.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in home networks
• Office workstations and small business networking
• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels
• Structured cabling runs where colour-coding is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil around each pair plus overall braid)
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, factory terminated
• Supported standards: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Cable colour: Green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the Helos CAT6 cable to the Ethernet port of your network device and the other end to a switch, router or wall jack. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it separated from high-voltage power lines where possible to maintain shielding effectiveness. For permanent installations, use appropriate cable management such as clips, trays or ties and avoid over-tightening that could deform the jacket or pairs.

Recommendations

Use this cable for gigabit Ethernet links up to 20 meters; for runs beyond this length or for higher performance requirements consider appropriate CAT6a or fiber solutions. Maintain clear separation from strong electromagnetic sources and follow local installation standards for cable routing and termination.
