Netwerkkabel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 7,5 m

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 7.5m networking cable provides a 7.5 metre connection with factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs on both ends. Designed to the Cat6 specification and supporting 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology, the grey cable uses S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs, PIMF) construction to reduce crosstalk and external interference for reliable high-speed data transfer in home and office networks.

Advantages

S/FTP (PIMF) shielding improves signal integrity by combining an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs, lowering electromagnetic interference and near-end crosstalk compared with unshielded cables. The Cat6 rating ensures support for gigabit Ethernet and suitable bandwidth for most modern networking needs. Pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors on both ends simplify installation and deliver consistent contact quality. The 7.5 m length covers typical room-to-room or desk-to-switch connections without excess slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, printers or network appliances to switches or routers
• Home network wiring and office desk cabling
• Gigabit Ethernet and multimedia streaming applications
• Structured cabling runs where improved EMI protection is required

Key specifications

How to use

Route the Helos CAT6 cable between network devices ensuring the connectors are inserted fully into RJ-45 sockets until they click. Avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large motors or unshielded power lines. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management to prevent strain on the connectors and maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, pair this Cat6 S/FTP cable with shielded network equipment or properly grounded patch panels where available. Test connections after installation with a network tester to verify continuity and correct wiring. Replace the cable if physical damage to the jacket or connectors is observed to maintain reliable gigabit performance.
