Netwerkkabel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 7,5m magenta

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) networking cable, 7.5 m in length and finished in magenta, provides shielded connectivity for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this cable is designed to deliver reliable gigabit data transmission while minimizing electromagnetic interference through its S/FTP (PIMF) construction. Its length and color make it suitable for visible runs in home offices, small business environments, or anywhere a medium-length patch cable is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) structure combines an overall foil shield with individually foil-wrapped twisted pairs to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity for high-speed network links. The RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network equipment and enable straightforward plug-and-play installation. The magenta jacket makes the cable easy to identify in cable bundles or patch panels, facilitating organization and troubleshooting.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches, and network ports for gigabit Ethernet
• Home office and small business workstation connections
• Patch panels and structured cabling within racks and comms cabinets
• Temporary setups and visible cable runs where color coding is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil shield with individually foil-wrapped pairs, PIMF)
• Color: Magenta

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your network devices, such as a router, switch, computer, or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and areas with strong electromagnetic sources where possible. For structured installations, label both ends and use cable management accessories to maintain tidy runs and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use the magenta Helos CAT6 S/FTP cable for short to medium-length gigabit links that require reduced interference and easy identification. Avoid tight bends and prolonged mechanical stress; maintain bend radius guidelines and keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines to preserve performance.
