Netwerkkabel Kramer Electronics C-UNIKAT-6

The Kramer C-UNIKAT-6 is a 1.8 m CAT6a networking cable with U/FTP shielding, designed for high-speed data transmission and compatibility with modern AV and LAN systems. It uses four individually screened twisted pairs and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to maintain signal integrity for applications such as DGKat™, 4K HDBaseT™ and standard Ethernet connections. The cable’s blue jacket identifies it easily in installations.

Advantages

U/FTP CAT6a construction provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables, helping to preserve high-bandwidth signals. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors reduce contact resistance and corrosion risk, supporting reliable long-term connections. The 1.8 m length and standard RJ-45 terminations make the cable ready for immediate use in AV, HDBaseT and LAN setups.

Suitable for

• 4K HDBaseT™ video extension and distribution
• DGKat™ AV installations
• Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short runs
• General LAN patching and equipment interconnects

How to use

Connect the gold-plated RJ-45 plug to the network or AV device’s RJ-45 port until the latch clicks. Use the cable for direct device-to-device links, patch panel connections, or short-distance links in AV racks and network cabinets. Ensure connectors and ports are free of debris and fully inserted to guarantee optimal signal transmission.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and compression of the cable, keep runs away from high-power electrical cables, and use shielded terminations or grounded patch panels where required by the AV installation to maintain the benefits of U/FTP shielding.
