Netwerkkabel Lanberg LCU5-12CU-0305-B U/UTP Cat5e 305 m blauw

The Lanberg LCU5-12CU-0305-B U/UTP Cat5e networking cable is a 305 meter spool of blue cable designed for structured cabling in offices, server rooms and residential networks. As a Cat5e unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) cable, it supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and is intended for Ethernet installations where reliable transmission and reduced crosstalk are required. The product is sold as a bulk cable without connectors, allowing installers to terminate it with appropriate RJ45 plugs or keystone jacks to match site requirements.

Advantages

The cable provides consistent electrical characteristics across its length suitable for Category 5e performance, while the unshielded twisted pair design simplifies grounding and installation in standard indoor environments. Its 305 m length is a common industry spool size that minimises joins and cable waste during large installations. The blue outer jacket offers clear visual identification for network segments and helps maintain organised cable runs.

Suitable for

• Ethernet LAN installations up to Cat5e performance
• Structured cabling in offices, data closets and residential environments
• Termination to RJ45 plugs, patch panels and keystone jacks
• Horizontal cabling runs where a 305 m spool is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Length: 305 m
• Rated data transfer: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Colour: blue
• Format: bulk spool without connectors

How to use

Measure the required run length and cut the cable from the spool. Strip the outer jacket and prepare individual pairs according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Terminate the cable using compatible RJ45 connectors, keystone jacks or patch panel modules designed for Cat5e. Test each terminated link with a network cable tester to verify continuity, pair order and performance before commissioning the network.

Recommendations

Use the cable for indoor installations only and avoid running it near high-voltage power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Maintain recommended bend radius and avoid excessive pulling tension during installation. For applications requiring shielding or higher category performance, consider shielded or higher-category cables.
