Netwerkkabel LANBERG PCF6A-10CC-1500-S Cat6a S/FTP, 15 m, RJ-45, grijs

LANBERG PCF6A-10CC-1500-S Cat6a S/FTP is a 15 m Ethernet patch cable terminated with RJ-45 plugs on both ends and encased in a grey outer jacket. The cable is constructed to support high-speed network connections with Category 6a performance and a shielded S/FTP design that combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. It is intended for use in structured cabling, office networks, server racks and other environments where reliable, high-throughput data transmission is required.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP construction provides improved protection against external noise and internal pair-to-pair interference compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain signal integrity at higher frequencies. Category 6a specification supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over copper at the specified distances, enabling higher throughput for demanding applications. The RJ-45 connectors offer broad compatibility with network devices and the grey jacket delivers a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations while providing mechanical protection for the internal pairs.

How to use

Route the LANBERG Cat6a S/FTP cable through cable management channels or cable trays as required by the installation. Insert each RJ-45 plug firmly into the corresponding port on network devices such as switches, routers or network interface cards until the latch clicks. Avoid sharp bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to preserve cable performance. When installing in shielded environments or connecting to shielded connectors, ensure proper grounding of the cable shield according to local cabling standards.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for links up to its rated distance and pair it with compatible shielded connectors and patch panels. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and secure connections to prevent strain on the RJ-45 plugs. If installation requires permanent terminations, consider professional termination and certification to confirm compliance with Cat6a performance parameters.
