Netwerkkabel LANBERG PCU5-10CC-0150-S Cat5e U/UTP RJ-45 1,5 m grijs

LANBERG PCU5-10CC-0150-S Cat5e U/UTP RJ-45 1.5 m Grey is a short patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in home and office environments. The cable follows the Cat5e standard with U/UTP construction, featuring RJ-45 plugs on both ends and a neutral grey jacket. It is intended for connecting PCs, switches, routers and other Ethernet-capable devices where a compact cable length is required.

Advantages

The U/UTP construction reduces external interference while maintaining the flexibility needed for tight cable runs. Cat5e specification supports typical Fast Ethernet and many Gigabit Ethernet applications in short runs. The 1.5 m length minimises excess cable clutter and simplifies tidy installations. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure broad compatibility with network equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC to a desktop switch or router over short distances
• Patch panel to switch connections in compact racks or cabinets
• Linking network devices on desks or workstations where a short cable is preferable
• Temporary test or diagnostic connections during network setup

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall shielding not present)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the network ports of the devices to be connected, ensuring the latch clicks into place. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources where possible. This cable is ready to use without additional configuration; device network settings should be managed on the connected equipment if required.

Recommendations

Use the 1.5 m length for tidy, short connections behind desks, between adjacent devices, or inside small network enclosures. For longer runs or environments with high electromagnetic interference, consider selecting a cable with a different category or shielding level appropriate to the installation.
