Netwerkkabel LOGON APR6A150I Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP) 15 m ivoor

LOGON APR6A150I Cat6a S/FTP (S‑STP) 15 m Ivory is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed to meet Cat6a performance for high‑speed wired networks. The cable features individually foil‑shielded twisted pairs and an overall braided shield to reduce electromagnetic and radio frequency interference, while RJ‑45 plugs on both ends provide standard connectivity for switches, routers, patch panels and network devices in home and office environments.

Advantages

This S/FTP (S‑STP) cable construction offers enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting stable data transmission at higher bandwidths. The 15 m length provides flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or racks without additional joiners. The finished cable with molded RJ‑45 connectors ensures quick plug‑and‑play installation and consistent contact for professional and consumer network setups.

Suitable for

• Wired LAN connections between computers and switches
• Patch panels and rack installations in small offices or server rooms
• Connecting routers, modems and access points where shielded cabling is preferred
• High‑definition streaming, VoIP and other low‑latency network applications

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil + overall braid)
• Length: 15 m
• Connector type: RJ‑45 on both ends, straight
• Outer colour: Ivory
• Conductor: twisted pairs (shielded)
• Jacket material: low smoke, zero halogen (LSOH)

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 plug to the network device (for example a switch or router) and the other plug to the endpoint device such as a PC, NAS or patch panel. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. For installations in racks or along walls, route the cable without excessive bending or kinking and avoid running parallel to high‑power electrical cables to minimize interference. If terminating into panels, use appropriate cable management to maintain bend radius and strain relief.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable where improved shielding is required, such as in environments with significant electrical noise or dense cable bundles. Verify network equipment supports Cat6a performance to benefit from higher throughput and reduced crosstalk. For permanent in‑wall installations, consult local regulations and consider using dedicated in‑wall rated cabling where required.
