Netwerkkabel M-Cab 3m RJ-45 Cat7 groen S/FTP

The M-Cab 3m RJ-45 Cat7 Green S/FTP networking cable by EFB Elektronik is a 3 metre, shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission. It features RJ-45 connectors at both ends and S/FTP shielding that combines an overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs provide consistent contact quality and corrosion resistance. The cable's green jacket identifies it easily within installations and is suitable for professional and home network setups that require Cat7 performance over a short to medium distance.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction offers improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded or partially shielded cables, supporting more stable high-speed connections. Dual RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports without adapters. The 3 m length provides flexibility for desk, rack or shelf connections while minimizing excess cable slack. Gold-plated contacts enhance signal reliability by maintaining low contact resistance over repeated plug cycles. The green colour simplifies cable identification during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, switches and routers within small office or home networks
• Linking network equipment in server racks or network cabinets where a short cable run is needed
• Applications that require reduced electromagnetic interference and stable Gigabit or higher throughput

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Colour: Green

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and strong electromagnetic sources where possible to maintain the shielding effectiveness. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management accessories, keeping the bend radius within manufacturer-recommended limits for Cat7 cables.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for short to medium-length connections where interference reduction and reliable high-speed data transfer are required. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines for extended distances to preserve signal integrity.
