Netwerkkabel M-Cab EC020200235 RJ-45 Cat8.1 1 m blauw

The M-Cab EC020200235 RJ-45 Cat8.1 1 m Blue is a high-performance Ethernet patch cable designed to support very high data rates in short-distance network connections. Built to the Cat8.1 specification, this 1 meter cable includes S/FTP shielding to minimize electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure reliable electrical contact and corrosion resistance. The cable is blue and intended for use in wired LAN environments requiring low latency and high throughput.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 cable delivers up to 40000 Mbit/s throughput for demanding network tasks. The S/FTP (shielded foil over twisted pairs plus overall braid) construction provides enhanced protection against external noise sources, improving signal integrity in crowded cable environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs reduce contact resistance and improve long-term reliability. The 1 meter length offers a compact solution for patching between switches, patch panels, and nearby devices without excess slack.

Suitable for

• Short-run connections in server rooms and data centres
• High-speed workstation to switch links
• Patch panels and switch-to-switch links within racks
• Environments with significant electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Length: 1 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual foil shielding with overall braid)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends, gold plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the adjacent device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. For optimal performance, avoid excessive bending or kinking of the cable and maintain appropriate separation from high-voltage power lines. Use the 1 m length for short patching runs where minimal slack is desired.

Recommendations

For reliable high-speed operation, verify that connected devices and network infrastructure support Cat8.1 performance levels. Install in rack or patch panel setups to minimize cable length and reduce signal loss. Avoid running parallel to unshielded power cables; if crossing is necessary, do so at right angles. Periodically inspect connectors for debris or damage and replace the cable if physical wear is observed.
