Netwerkkabel M-Cab EC020200307 RJ-45 Cat8.1 10 m zwart

The M-Cab EC020200307 RJ-45 Cat8.1 networking cable is a 10 m black cable designed for high-speed wired connections. Compliant with the Cat8.1 standard, it supports data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s and uses RJ-45 connectors on both ends for broad device compatibility. The cable features S/FTP (S-STP) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable signal transmission and contact durability. Its length and connector type make it suitable for connecting routers, switches, servers and workstations in demanding network setups.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP construction improves noise immunity in environments with multiple cables and electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts minimize corrosion and ensure consistent electrical contact over time. The Cat8.1 specification provides a higher bandwidth ceiling compared with lower-category cables, which supports applications that require large data throughput. A 10 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-desk or equipment-to-equipment connections without excessive slack.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects and short-distance server links
• High-speed wired connections for gaming PCs and workstations
• Structured cabling in offices and studios where shielding is required
• Network upgrades where Cat8.1 performance is desired

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Category: Cat8.1
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: S/FTP (S-STP)
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port on your router, switch or network interface and the other RJ-45 plug to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and places with heavy mechanical stress; maintain gentle curves to preserve shielding and internal pair geometry. If used in rack environments, secure the cable with appropriate ties or channels to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines or unshielded electrical wiring. Use short, supported runs within the 10 m length for best signal integrity. Inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage and replace the cable if physical damage or degraded performance is observed.
