Netwerkkabel METZ CONNECT 13084U3033-E RJ-45 Cat6 3 m grijs

The METZ CONNECT 13084U3033-E RJ-45 Cat6 3 m Grey is a 3-metre networking cable designed to provide stable wired connections between computers, routers, switches and other Ethernet-enabled devices. Built to Cat6 specification with S/FTP shielding, the cable supports high-speed data transmission and reduces electromagnetic and crosstalk interference. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for home offices, commercial workplaces and structured cabling installations.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable combines standard RJ-45 termination and S/FTP shielding to deliver reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance and improved signal integrity over short to medium runs. The 3 m length covers typical desk-to-wall or equipment-to-switch connections without excess slack. The grey outer sheath provides discreet cable routing in most interior environments while the robust construction ensures consistent contact and long-term durability.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops and workstations to routers or switches
• Wired VoIP phones and IP cameras requiring reliable Ethernet links
• Home office and small business network setups
• Patch panel to switch connections in racks and cabinets

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cable length: 3 m
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your computer, router, switch or network device and the other end into the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends and kinks and route the cable away from high-power electrical sources to minimise potential interference. If installing into a patch panel or keystone jack, verify correct termination and port assignment before powering network equipment.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short to medium-length runs where Gigabit Ethernet or higher signal integrity is required; replace damaged cables and inspect connectors periodically to maintain reliable network performance.
