Netwerkkabel ROLINE 21.15.3957 zwart 5 m Cat6a U/UTP

The ROLINE 21.15.3957 Black 5 m Cat6a U/UTP networking cable is a shielded twisted-pair Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data connections in home and office environments. With Cat6a specification support and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 5-metre cable provides reliable transmission for applications that require stable gigabit or 10-gigabit-capable links across short to medium distances. The black jacket offers a discreet appearance for visible installations.

Advantages

This Cat6a U/UTP cable reduces electromagnetic interference through its pairing and overall cable construction while maintaining flexibility for routing in racks, conduits, and under desks. The RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard network ports and network devices. Its 5 m length covers typical desk-to-switch and equipment-to-router connections without excess slack, and the durable outer jacket resists wear from normal office use.

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 6a (Cat6a)
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs inside an overall unshielded jacket)
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Black
• Cable type: Twisted pair Ethernet cable suitable for up to 10 Gbps over appropriate distances

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into a network switch, router, or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tension; maintain gentle curves with a radius larger than the cable diameter. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as large motors or unshielded power cables.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a cable for desktop and small office connections where a 5 m length is sufficient. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and do not exceed recommended pull tensions. For installations requiring additional protection or outdoor exposure, choose a cable rated for those conditions.
