Netwerkkabel ROLINE Recyclingmaterial 21.45.3218 RJ-45 Cat6a 15m rood

The ROLINE Recycled Material networking cable (model 21.45.3218) is a 15 m Cat6a patch cable with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for 10GBase-T applications, this red cable combines high-speed data transmission with materials sourced from recycled components to reduce environmental impact. Gold-plated contacts and moulded bend protection at the connectors support reliable connections and longer service life.

Advantages

The cable provides Cat6a performance suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet thanks to its S/FTP shielding that reduces electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts increase contact reliability and corrosion resistance, while moulded bend protection prevents cable damage at stress points. Using recycled materials lowers the product's environmental footprint without compromising technical specifications.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks (10GBase-T)
• High-speed data transmission between switches, servers and workstations
• Structured cabling in offices, data centers and server rooms

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of a switch, router or network interface card and the other end to the device you want to link. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and sharp edges; the moulded bend protection helps at connector ends but standard cable management practices should be followed to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in 10GBase-T environments, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for Cat6a and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. Use proper patch panels and cable management in racks to prevent excessive bending or strain.
