Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75205-25H CAT5e SF/UTP aluminiumfolie, 25 m

ShiverPeaks 75205-25H CAT5e SF/UTP ALU foil network cable, 25 m, is designed for structured cabling in office and home environments. The cable consists of four twisted pairs with overall aluminum foil and individual pair shielding (SF/UTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. With CAT5e performance it supports typical Ethernet applications and reliable device interconnections over a 25-m run while remaining halogen-free for safer installations.

Advantages

The SF/UTP construction combines foil shielding and twisted pairs to provide improved protection against external noise compared with unshielded cables, ensuring stable data transmission for Ethernet networks up to CAT5e specifications. The 25 m length on a single reel simplifies routing and installation in medium-length runs without the need for splicing. Halogen-free materials reduce the release of corrosive gases in case of fire, making the cable suitable for indoor environments where safety requirements matter. The cable is compatible with standard RJ45 terminations and common structured cabling components.

Suitable for

• LAN wiring in offices and homes
• Patch panels and patch cord connections
• Connecting switches, routers, PCs and networked devices
• Structured cabling where EMI reduction is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT5e performance for Ethernet
• Shielding: SF/UTP — overall aluminum foil with individually shielded pairs
• Conductor arrangement: 4 twisted pairs
• Length: 25 meters
• Material properties: halogen-free outer jacket
• Typical application: indoor LAN and patching

How to use

Measure and route the cable through cable trays, conduits or along walls to reach network equipment locations. Terminate the ends with compatible RJ45 plugs or punch down onto patch panels following standard wiring schemes (T568A or T568B). Ensure the foil shielding is properly grounded at one end or according to local installation practices to maximize EMI protection. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling tension during installation to maintain cable performance.

Recommendations

For best performance, maintain separation from power cables and strong EMI sources, use correct grounding of the shield, and follow CAT5e installation best practices including proper cable routing, minimum bend radius, and secure terminations.
