Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75512-SLB CAT 7 U/FTP plat RJ45

Flat network cable ShiverPeaks 75512-SLB CAT 7 U/FTP Flat RJ45 is a slim blue patch cable designed for wired Ethernet connections that require CAT 7 performance and enhanced shielding. The flat profile simplifies routing under carpets, along skirting boards or around tight corners in homes, offices and data closets. With U/FTP shielding and RJ45 terminations, this cable supports high-speed connections while reducing alien crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

The U/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually screened pairs for improved noise rejection and stable signal transmission in environments with multiple cables and electronic equipment. The flat design reduces bend radius in one plane and enables discreet installation where round cables would be bulky. Plug-and-play RJ45 connectors provide compatibility with common network devices such as routers, switches and network interface cards.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections in home and office networks
• Routing under carpets, along skirting boards and through narrow channels
• Connections between routers, switches, servers and patch panels
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and improved crosstalk protection

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 7 performance for frequencies up to 600 MHz
• Shielding: U/FTP — overall foil with individually foil-shielded twisted pairs
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Construction: flat/slim cable profile for low-profile routing
• Color: blue
• Suitable for Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet applications

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to your network device (router, switch or computer) and the other plug to the target port. When routing the flat cable, guide it along edges or under coverings, keeping bends gentle and avoiding sharp creases to maintain signal integrity. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and latched to obtain a secure electrical and mechanical connection. If used in patch panels or keystone jacks, verify compatibility with RJ45 termination requirements.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and maintain separation from heavy electrical equipment. Use gentle curves rather than tight folds when routing under carpets or along baseboards. Regularly inspect connectors for dust and damage and replace the cable if shielding or insulation is compromised.
